A Message From The Unit President
"Fall 2009"
First let me Thank You for the opportunity to serve as President of Unit #25 Milltown NJ. I am very excited to serve and above all make a difference in the lives of our Troops and communities. Already the past couple months have been busy.
The Wildwood Convention held in June was very successful and informative. As usual the participation in the Wildwood parade was overwhelming. Sincere thanks and appreciation goes to Nancy O’Rorke for coordinating our parade shirts. They were a real hit. June ended with a disturbing occurrence when our Post was broken in to. Monies that would be used to assist in the many programs were stolen. But that didn’t stop our PP Gloria Richards who with the assistance of the POST, SAL, and Ladies Auxiliary members organized a very successful community fundraiser “Jail House Rock.” Gloria again thank you for all your hard work and dedication. The Fourth of July parade came upon us and in true fashion Puelio’s donated the float for member s to participate in the Parade. I would also like to thank the Ladies that carried the Colors. All participation and dedication is greatly appreciated.
Under the coordination of PP Betty Kumpa the annual “Pot Luck Dinner” was again a success. Betty we can always count on you to provide not only a fun time with songs and games. But this year your Trivia game was very informative and well received by all the Ladies.
In the coming months the below activities are planned, which I’m hopeful will receive your full support.
The Annual Post Picnic will be held on September 19th.
Our REGULAR meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, starting at 8:00 PM. I hope to see everyone there.
For God and Country,
Victoria Bossert - Unit President
